Jano Japan is a small, owner-run tour company based in Marunouchi, in the centre of Tokyo. We run private day tours for travellers who would rather see Japan with a local than from the window of a coach.

Every tour is private to your group. There is one English-speaking guide-driver with you for the whole day, one comfortable, clean vehicle, and a plan we put together with you by message before you land. On the day itself nothing is fixed in stone — if the light is good we linger, if you are tired we cut a stop, if the mountain is hiding we change the route to find a better view.

How booking works

1. Message us on WhatsApp, or send an enquiry from any tour page, with your dates and group size.
2. We reply — usually the same day — with a tailored plan and a fixed quote.
3. A small deposit secures the date. The balance is due shortly before the tour.
4. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before you start.
