Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, at the northern foot of Mount Fuji. It serves as the main entrance to the Yoshida Trail, one of the traditional climbing routes to the summit of Mount Fuji. The shrine is dedicated to Konohanasakuya-hime, the Shinto goddess of Mount Fuji, and it has a long history dating back to ancient times. Visitors often come to the shrine to pray for safe travels and successful climbs before embarking on their journey up the mountain.
Oshino Hakkai is a small village located near Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. It's renowned for its pristine and crystal-clear spring water, which flows from Mount Fuji's snowmelt and underground springs. The village is home to eight ponds (hakkai means "eight seas" in Japanese) fed by this water source. Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, also known as Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō) is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine’s main buildings. The location offers spectacular views of Mount Fuji in combination with the pagoda. The spot is particularly popular among photographers as it allows for some wonderfully stereotypical shots of Japan.

Oshino Hakkai (忍野八海) is a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region, located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several hundred years ago. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals.

Ropeway charges are not included in the package. This cable car brings you up the 220 meters to the observation point and offers fantastic views of the lake as you ascend. The Mount Fuji Panoramic Ropeway ascends 400 meters from the eastern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko to an observation deck near the peak of Mount Tenjo. From the observation deck, which sits more than 1000 meters above sea level, there are panoramic views of the lake below and of Mount Fuji.

Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine is one of approximately 1,300 Asama shrines in Japan that enshrine the deity of volcanoes in general and Mount Fuji in particular. The shrine is part of the Mt. Fuji UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, designated in 2013.

By far the most visited of the Fuji Five Lakes, Lake Kawaguchiko serves as the main point of entry to this famous lake region. It is the second largest of the Five Lakes in terms of surface area and the second most shallow with a depth of only 14.6 meters. It has a surface elevation of approximately 830 meters, which accounts for its relatively cool summers and icy winters. Lake Kawaguchiko attracts especially many visitors in spring during cherry blossom season and in autumn when the fall foliage comes out in full force.
